* Choose complex carbohydrates, low hypoglycemic index, preferring whole grain cereals and their products over the corresponding processed.

* Make sure to share your carbohydrate sources of bread (bread, toasts, breakfast cereals, spaghetti, rice, potatoes, fried foods) in your daily meals. Consume a selection of these at each meal, mainly as a side dish, avoiding combining them.
